A small homestead on the bank of Abbotts Creek near where it feeds into High Rock Lake. Peace and solitude , but close to the amenities of town. Less than a five minute drive to the grocery store, and less than a fifteen minute drive to uptown Lexington. Public access for kayaks is less than half a mile away. And the view is unbelievable! We’re currently undergoing changes! Check out our new camping platform, and stay tuned for a new, upcoming bell tent site. We have a corn hole board and bags now available for use, as well as a few other yard games. Please let us know if you are interested in using them. Creekside Camp
Great place to camp! Has its own private bathroom and everything you need for a great experience. Also has access to a nearby river as well as farm animals on the property you can interact with! Very friendly and accommodating, highly recommended!

Peacefully Getaway
I highly recommend this quiet, peaceful getaway. You will feel well taken care of by Natalie and her husband. The cabin is cozy and has the feel of being in another era, but with all the amenities you need. Everything feels really well taken care of and attended to. There is a fire circle with plenty of wood. The outdoor shower is amazing and the gardens and land are beautiful. I highly recommend this spot. My only regret is I was just passing through and would have loved to stay for longer!

Little Cabin
A very rustic but charming and well appointed cabin with wifi, with a wood stove cooking stove. Bring your own cooler for keeping food cold as there is no refrigerator. The wide front porch is the best part but be sure to bring camp chairs as there are only bar stools to sit on. Also on site are two picnic tables. The relaxing view from the porch is across a wide yard to pens of pigs, sheep and chickens- and then to big sky. The only water is a pump outside on the side of the cabin but you might have to ask the owners how to work it (I was not successful). There is water, a shower and dish washing facilities at the home of the owners, a few minute’s walk. Light in the cabin is provided by solar lamps. We also brought our own camping lanterns and flashlights. Good recycling and trash facilities are on the far side of the composting toilet. The double bed is in the loft, reached by a generous, built-in ladder. The bed is very comfortable and windows on both ends open wide to give good circulation so that warm or hot days turn into comfortable sleeping nights. Owners are very friendly and helpful. In other words, the experience here is the same as a camp site in a national park except you don’t have to put up a tent! “Glamping!”

Little Cabin
We had a perfect stay at the Dancing Pig! Natalie and Darrell’s hospitality and kindness is unmatched! The cabin is the perfect place to get back in touch with nature and enjoy a peaceful getaway. They have included everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The sunrise from the porch is gorgeous - especially while sipping on a fresh cup of the locally roasted coffee that is provided. We really enjoyed the surrounding area and all it had to offer, as well. We will definitely stay here again in the future and highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect weekend getaway!

Little Cabin
Super cute and relaxing!
My husband and I loved our stay at the little cabin. The loft bed was so cute with the string lights and little bookshelf. Gordon even got to have his own bed! The outdoor shower was so refreshing and the atmosphere of the place was very calming. We came during a time with tons of cicadas! Other than that there were no real problems with bugs, and that's coming from someone who is super afraid of bugs. There were a couple of little spiders in the bathroom at night and one bigger one that lives in the spigot, but nothing too scary. I loved laying in the hammock and waking up to the sound of the farm animals. The hosts were really nice and helped us with the stove and fire when we couldn't get ours started.
